Buffalo Chicken Macaroni and Cheese Pasta & Noodles This recipe takes classic mac and cheese to the next level by adding spicy buffalo chicken. Creamy and cheesy with a kick of heat, this dish is perfect for a comforting dinner or party appetizer. Ingredients 1 pound elbow macaroni 2 cups shredded cooked chicken 1/4 cup hot sauce 1/4 cup unsalted butter 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 2 cups milk 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs Salt and pepper, to taste Green onions, chopped (optional, for garnish) Blue cheese dressing (optional, for serving) Instructions Cook the macaroni according to the package directions. Drain and set aside. In a separate bowl, combine the shredded chicken and hot sauce. Set aside. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk until smooth. Cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly. Gradually whisk in the milk and continue to whisk until the sauce is smooth and thickened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the cheddar cheese and blue cheese until melted and smooth.
