Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced

  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup snap peas
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the sliced beef to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers, onion, broccoli florets, and snap peas. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
Return the cooked beef to the skillet and pour the teriyaki sauce over the beef and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything in the sauce.
Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and vegetables.
Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
