Chocolate Raspberry Tart

  • 1 pre-made 9-inch pie crust
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup seedless raspberry jam
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries


Preheat oven to 350°F.

Place the pre-made pie crust in a 9-inch tart pan and trim the edges. Prick the bottom of the crust with a fork and bake for 10 minutes.

In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just starts to simmer.

Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips, butter, and salt until smooth.
Pour the chocolate mixture into the baked pie crust and spread it evenly.

Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, until the filling is set.
Allow the tart to cool to room temperature.

In a small saucepan, heat the raspberry jam until it is melted and smooth.

Brush the melted raspberry jam over the top of the chocolate filling.

Arrange the fresh raspberries on top of the raspberry jam.

Chill the tart in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
